You should strictly keep away from foods which tend to increase uric acid content of the body. These include tea, coffee, fried foods, meat, fish and eggs. Foods that are highly processed must also be avoided by gout sufferers. Those foods which are high in carbohydrates and fat should likewise be stayed clear of.
