The Bureau and the Mole by David A. Vise: The Unmasking of Robert Philip Hanssen, the Most Dangerous Double Agent in FBI History
In The Bureau and the Mole David A. Vise, a Pulitzer Prize winning author for the Washington Post, cracks the code on a stellar FBI agent turned Russian informant. Sounds good, so don't wait for the film, due out from Jerry Bruckheimer. As the expanded title states without qualification, Robert Phillip Hanssen was the most dangerous double agent in FBI history.
Its rare to find a non fiction work that reads like a novel, but Vise has shown the ability to incorporate the incredible facts of the Hanssen story with a writing style that keeps the reader entertained and informed.
The Bureau and the Mole is an excellent read.
