Clone Golf Clubs Can Shave Strokes Off Your Handicap

by Mark Walters

The old adage in golf used to be you cant buy a better game. Getting proficient at golf took a lot of time, effort and countless hours on the practice range. Fortunately for us mere mortals, that’s no longer the case. You really can buy a better golf game.

The average club golfer needs as much assistance he or she can get from their clubs. The shape and design of the heads. The playing specifications of the shafts. The material and size of the grips. All these combine to make a golf club which is playable and consistent.

We all have unique swings. We all setup to the ball differently. We all hit the ball differently. There isn’t one golf club to fit all swings. that’s where the real value of Clone Golf Clubs lies.

Quality Clone Golf Clubs aren’t some cheap knock-offs of Taylormade or Ping for example. These are clubs which stand on their own merits and can go a long way to improving your golf. These are quality clubs built with quality shafts and grips. The same shafts and grips as you’ll find in the big OEM’s.

None of the big OEMs have the patent for high MOI drivers, cavity back irons or forgiving putters. These are modern golf club designs used by all the major manufacturers, including manufacturers of quality clone golf clubs.

Some people might argue that the quality of these clubs is low, that they use low quality raw materials. Well, Ive got some news for them. The grade of Titanium used in driver heads for example is currently around $3 a kilo. that’s enough for about 5 driver heads. Why use a low quality material when for $3 you have enough Titanium for 5 driver heads?

Some people would argue that the tolerances on clone golf clubs aren’t as exact as the big OEMs. Again, Id have to disagree. Cast clubs are produced from a mould and its exactly the same cost to cast from a high quality mould as it is from one with low quality.

Mr. Woods uses expensive golf clubs. No doubt about that one. They’re not off-the-rack clubs though. These are clubs custom to his exact specifications. The lie angles, the shaft flex, the length. All the components of his clubs are fine tuned to his own swing.

The only golf clubs that will work for your game are clubs that have been custom fit to match your particular swing. Your build, your swing speed, your usual ball trajectory. To play your best golf more often, you need to fit your clubs to your swing, not your swing to the clubs. A high price tag doesnt enter into the equation. You’ll see more improvement by using a set of custom clone golf clubs than from trying to adapt your swing to an expensive set of off-the-rack clubs.
