The Best Las Vegas Golf Courses
The Lake Las Vegas Resort is great golfing destination for a variety of reasons. I has a reflection bay that really captures the beauty of the course and also gives in that nice country club feel. This course was designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus, so you know it will present some great challenges and intricate landscaping.
Another aabove para (no pun intended, or would that be below par?) golf course is the Falls Golf Course also located at the Lake Las Vegas Resort. This course is a relatively new addition to the Lake Las Vegas Resort but it is still a good one. This course varies hugely in elevation and is name the aFallsa for its many beautiful waterfalls, creeks and streams that runs through the course. The back nine, 12th, 13th, and 14th holes are considered to be the most difficult, yet breath-taking holes in Nevada. Price: $250-300
The Siena Golf Club offers an Italian-esque experience. It has great surroundings and very open fairways that make for a relaxing round of golf. You get an incredible view of the lake from some of the holes and the course isnat really that difficult, though you will need to work on your tee shot to keep those numbers low. Price $100-160
Another great course is the Royal Links Golf Club which actually mimics some of the greatest holes on the British circuit. They are just about exact duplicates to the best holes and will provide you with the sense of British golf in your blood. A benefit on this course is that each hole will contain a description with the British history behind each.
Desert Pines Golf Club as you can guess from the name is themed with pines. A lot of pines. There are pines everywhere. In fact, there are 4,000 pines. Probably one of the best value courses in Las Vegas, it can be as low as $45 for tee times. This is one of the easier courses yet still a good one to enjoy. Price $45-125
Are you looking for a more private golf course to play on then Dragon Ridge Country Club is perfect. You must be a member or a guest of a member to play here. The terrain and water features make this course challenging.
Experienced golfers will enjoy the challenge of the longest golf course in Nevada which equals 7,600 yards. This course is known as Wolf Course at Paiute Resort and is presented as a challenging course. It is not recommended that beginners play here due to the level of difficulty.
Lastly, the Bali Hai Golf Club is another great course to consider because its theme is based on the South Pacific. This course includes a green on an island, thousands of palm trees and many tropical plants scattered throughout. The course will present a challenge to anyone who wishes to try it.
