While professional golfer like to walk the course it is true to say that the majority of amateur golf players prefer the ease and comfort of driving around the course in a golf cart.

Generally golf clubs have a few golf carts available for hire but, even if their rates are not too high, the cost of hiring a golf cart can soon mount up for the regular golfer. So, for regular golfers, the question of buying rather than renting a cart arises. Not only is this an option that will pay for itself over time, but it is also an option which will allow you to concentrate more on improving your golf, instead of worrying about your sore feet. With so many carts on the market today all you need to do is simply decide which cart most closely meets your list of requirements.

Today you can buy either a gas-driven or an electrically-powered golf cart and for golfers who are going to use their cart almost exclusively on the course, and possibly in traveling short distances to and from the course, an electrically-powered vehicle will probably be the best choice. Easy to operate, clean and quiet, electrically-powered golf carts are clearly in the lead when it comes to golf clubs buying carts for use on-course.

There are of course one or two drawbacks to the electric cart and one of those is the possibility of getting stranded out on the course because your battery has run flat. Even with advances in modern battery technology the electric golf cart does still suffer from a fairly restricted range. This is not generally a problem for normal use of the average golf course but it is certainly something you need to take into account if you are going to have to travel any reasonable distance.

One great advantage to owning your own golf cart, apart from the sheer convenience, is the fact that they are so easy to customize. From blinkers to decals, custom paint to windscreens, there is a wide product range available of parts and accessories for anyone that wants to leave a mark on the course.

If you are in the market for a new golf cart then start by considering one of the many electrically-powered carts available today. Providing you are prepared to take the time and do your research you will find a cart that both meets you needs and your budget.

Discover the amazing Club Car golf carts presently on sale and look in detail at both gas golf carts and electric golf carts before making your pick.

The use of golf carts is vital because with it you don’t have to tire yourself pacing around the golf course when you have to fetch golf balls. Understanding that golf carts can bring plenty of goodness to golf players, perhaps you can promote some used golf carts to earn some additional income.

There are a number of potential shoppers available out there, but before you place an advertisement on the internet mentioning about golf carts for sale, you should take into account several things so that you are able to attract as many users as possible.

An as example, when you need to promote about Club Car golf carts for sale on the internet, you must know that consumers normally make a complete research before making their purchase.

This means you have to place your advertisement in a number of locations on the internet, for example on forums, classified columns, websites and blogs. You must bear in mind to put your advertisement in some of the local outlets too, and include your URL address in the advertisement so that offline buyers can open the advertisement you put online.

If you’re putting your advertisements in a few places, you must be sure that the price you are showing is identical in all of your advertisements. If you put different prices, sooner or later shoppers will discover that you are not constant in your price, and this may make them distrust you. If you have positioned an advertisement about Ez Go golf carts for sale and informed the price to be $250 per unit, stick to it so that shoppers know you’re advertising something which is good in quality.

It is not going to reward you should you put loads of advertisements mentioning about Yamaha golf carts for sale when you don’t know what brand of golf carts is most preferred by shoppers.

It is better to know the favorite brand of consumers because this way, it is possible for you to to make a lot of sales. Apart from that, you should examine further about specific needs of buyers whenever they need to purchase a golf cart. Some consumers like to purchase an electric ignited golf cart than a gas powered cart, thus you must advertise more on the electric ignited golf carts.

Finding a ez go golf cart for sale can be hard if you have no idea where to find them. Discover ways to get club car golf carts for sale at an affordable price right now by clicking the link above.

While you may have considered buying a used car or truck, how about a used golf cart? Besides being used on a golf course, golf carts are also popular at places such as campgrounds, construction sites, and retirement homes. And while you’d probably first consider buying a new model, you can also find a quality used golf cart. Here are some tips to help you accomplish that mission:

1. Determine how much money you’re willing to invest for repairs.
That includes exterior and mechanical items that need to be fixed. The good news is that exterior repairs, such as covers and seat cushions, can be easy and inexpensive to fix. However, mechanical repairs can be somewhat pricey, so consider how much you’re willing to invest for repairs. After some consideration, you might determine that a particular used golf cart isn’t worth the money you’d need to spend on repairs (including the cost of custom golf cart parts).

2. Try to negotiate a price.
How good are you at negotiating? One of the perks of buying a used golf cart is that you’ll have a better chance of negotiating the price, than you would when buying a new golf cart. While there’s no guarantee that the golf cart’s owner will be willing to negotiate, there’s a chance that he she might be. It’s worth a try!

3. Examine the golf cart in-person.
This could save you a lot of potential headaches in the future, such as when you’d need custom golf cart parts. If you’re very familiar with the mechanics of a golf cart then you could examine the go cart yourself. Otherwise, you’d need to have someone else check the machine. You should also take the golf cart for a spin, to see how it handles. The time to make these checks is before you buy a golf cart, rather than afterwards.

4. Examine a golf cart’s batteries.
Make sure to take this step for any used golf cart that you’re considering. Typically golf cart batteries last for about five years. Examine a golf court’s batteries to determine the month and year that the battery was produced. Also, check the battery for any leaks or corrosion. An old and damaged battery could add somewhat significantly to future repair costs of a golf cart.

5. Test-drive a golf cart.
Typically you should test-drive it for about half an hour. Check how well the golf cart handles and turns. Check the acceleration and breaks. Check the steering wheel. All of these checks can help to ensure that the machine is road-worthy.

If you’re in the market for a golf cart, these tips will help you to find the right one. Ultimately, you’ll minimize future repairs and custom golf cart parts needed.

A golf cart can make your life easier, whether you use it to roll along a golf course, travel through a construction site, or commute at a retirement community. And the good news is that you don’t need to spend all of your life savings on a golf cart and custom golf cart parts. Here are some tips to help you find the right golf cart at the right price:

1. Avoid buying several bells and whistles.
While extras (such as a glove compartment) can improve the function of a golf cart, they can also cause its price tag to skyrocket. So if you want to spend less money on a used golf cart, then choose one that has fewer bells and whistles. That will help you to save a small fortune.

2. Shop around.
There’s a saying that “You can always find a better price.” By shopping around, you can save big bucks on a new or used golf cart. The key is to leave no stone unturned when searching. Shop online and offline. Shop in big and small stores. And shop until you’ve collected at least three stores’ prices for a particular model. Shopping around can help you to find a lower price, and minimize how much you’ll need to spend on custom golf cart parts in the future.

3. Look for sales and specials.
You can find them when shopping in both online and offline stores.

4. Set a budget.
Assuming that you stick to your budget-you can’t spend more money on a used golf cart than you’ve budgeted for it, right? Determine various features that you’re looking for in a used golf cart, and then set a reasonable budget that you can afford. If you use fiscal discipline then you can avoid spending more capital on a golf cart than your income can actually accommodate.

5. Buy a used golf cart.
This method can literally save you thousands of dollars that you’d normally spend on a new golf cart and custom golf cart parts. That’s a good thing, right? Yes, but make sure that you avoid buying a lemon. That would cause you to spend more than you can actually afford. So if you’re considering a particular used golf cart unit, do your homework. Examine the exterior and mechanics of the golf cart carefully before making a deal.

6. Buy an electric-powered model.
Electric-powered golf carts are significantly cheaper than gas-powered units. Not only are these units better for the environment, but they can drastically reduce the overall costs of maintaining a golf cart.

Is it possible to buy a golf court, without losing your shirt? You can do it, and these tips will help you to accomplish your mission!

Just like your car or truck, golf carts eventually need repairs. When they’re fixed, you’ll need to purchase golf cart parts (such as custom golf cart parts). The key is to buy the right parts at the right price. As simplistic as that sounds, it can be quite challenging if you don’t take the right steps. Here are some helpful tips for locating the golf cart parts that you need:

1. Buy the right part for the right golf cart.
Several parts may look similar, or seem compatible with multiple golf cart models. To avoid needing to return replacement parts (such as custom golf cart parts), determine the exact serial number(s) of the replacement part(s) that you need. That will guarantee that you replace faulty parts with the correct replacement parts.

2. Know when to replace the cart instead of the parts.
If the cost of replacement parts is too high, then replacing the entire golf cart is a better option.

3. Avoid copycat replacement parts.
The price of copycat replacement parts (such as custom golf cart parts) can make it tempting to buy them. The problem is that these parts are typically made using inferior materials and craftsmanship. So while you could save a little money by purchasing them, they could ultimately cause some big headaches. It’s advisable to buy genuine replacement parts instead, to guarantee that they’ll fit right and last long.

4. Check if your golf cart is still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
You can determine that by reviewing the owner’s manual. If the golf cart is still under warranty, then you’ll simply need to find a repairman that meets the requirements of your golf cart’s manufacturer. This can save you a ton of time, money, and effort that you’d normally spend installing custom golf cart parts yourself.

5. Shop around.
As when buying any other type of replacement part, you should shop around before buying ones for your golf cart. The Internet has revolutionized the way that we shop. From the comfort of your own home, you can surf the Net to compare prices on replacement parts. Take the time to do some price comparison, since it could help you to save a small fortune on the parts. Also, check offline stores since they can also offer competitive prices.

6. Consider replacing parts yourself.
If you have the time and know-how, this is definitely a viable option. You can also save money that you would have spent transporting your golf cart to a service center. As a word of caution, if you’re unsure if you could replace mechanical parts on your golf cart, then have a professional do it instead.

When you need replacement parts for your golf cart, these tips will help you to get it done. You’ll be ready to roll out sooner, rather than later!

Cost savings counts in the current economy even when you are shopping for golf carts. Perhaps you need to use the golf cart as a utility cart but you do not have a lot of reserve cash to make the purchase. Country clubs and private golf clubs are prime searching ground for used carts, since they upgrade their fleet of carts every three or four years.

If you are purchasing a golf cart from a private golf course, more than likely you will be buying the cart “as is.” This means they will probably have been inspected for major damage, but there will have been no cleaning or other kinds of refurbishing.

As-is golf carts come with no warranties. It is understood at the time of your purchase that you will take on any repairs or replacements that have to be done.

Make sure that you test-drive the cart before paying for it. Add weight to it and drive it up a hill to see how well the motor runs. Look at the body of the cart for signs of rust or to see if there have been any replacement parts.

Refurbished carts from golf cart dealers have undergone thorough inspections and have already been cleaned and reupholstered. Golf cart dealers also offer warranties for 30 or 60 days and give you the chance to select different seats, new paint jobs or upholstery.

Do not ever make the mistake of settling for the first golf carts that you may find. Shop around to several dealers or private golf clubs to get the cart that fits your needs.

Maintenance becomes a key activity after you have made your purchase. How much maintenance will cost will depend on what kind of golf cart you purchase: gas-powered or electric. Electric carts need the water level checked regularly and require a $400-500 battery replacement every two years. Gas-powered carts need the spark plugs, oil and air filters changed regularly.

A good estimate for used golf carts is about $2,000, compared to the price of a brand new one at about $4,000. Gas golf carts are going to require you to deal with a dealer, since country clubs mostly use electric carts. You should feel safe asking the right questions and comfortable enough to compare prices before you buy.

The Golf Cart Covers Guide was established to help people learn about the various aspects of golf cart covers.

There is nothing wrong with keeping your items protected from things that may damage it. This is especially true for people who have equipment that they have bought. Sports like golf have equipment, so you will notice that owners are also very particular in protecting them. One of these items is golf carts and they utilize golf cart covers to keep them protected from the following.

If you expose your golf cart to the rain, you will also give hard water, as well as grime the chance of setting in on its surface. Once these have settled, you will encounter many problems in cleaning them. Most of the time, no matter how many times you scrub and wipe it with the strongest cleaning materials, you may still find them on your golf cart.

Dirt and sand – it is a fact that sand spots are present on golf courses. Without golf cart covers, you cannot prevent sand and dust from collecting on the cart. The problem with dust is that once they have become deep seated on the cart, you will be having a hard time cleaning them. Simultaneously, the cart will look older than the usual.

Fading colors – exposing the golf cart under the direct rays of the sun will definitely make your golf cart’s color fade faster than usual. With a cover for your golf cart, you will keep the golf carts’ color remaining bright. If you fail to use a cover, your friends may be questioning where your new golf cart has gone.

Cracks due to golf balls – since a golf course is a place to play, it is inevitable that accidents may happen like your cart being hit by golf balls. The thing about a golf cart cover’s material is that it will absorb the shock that a speeding golf ball would cause. With this, you will have shallower, or possible no, cracks to any of your golf carts.

Even with the golf cart covers, it will still be possible for you to maneuver the golf cart. This is because some of them have space for the wheels and have transparent parts on windows and doors so you can drive it with ease.

Your needs in terms of these covers will definitely be met as the manufacturers have made them with different options that will fit every golfer’s preferences. They have also different colors and functionality, plus you will even get ones with warranties so you can replace them if you encounter any problems.

Since you have spent a lot on money on your golfing equipment, you may need to get the covers that will provide you the best protection in order to keep the equipment looking very new and undamaged. Simultaneously, you should also find the covers that will be the best match for your budget. By using the search engines, you will stumble on different stores that will offer you the best ones in protecting your gears.

The Golf Carts Guide was established to help people learn about golf cart.

When I was working in a customer service company some time ago, I had an officemate who lives in a subdivision less than a kilometer away from the office. Beside his subdivision is a golf course where we often hang out in the weekends. It was always a delight to see him arriving at work in a golf cart. He said he saves quite a bit driving that thing to the office every day. After office hours, he was always a hit when he parks his rig at the mall parking lot beside our workplace.

I realized that owning a golf cart can actually be very economical as opposed to renting one every time I play a game of golf with my friends, which happens often by the way. I can even see how one can also use it as a means of transportation around a retirement community. I can still remember how my friend goes around the huge parking lot of the mall and finding a parking space for his cart without a problem.

I can opt for a new one or probably be comfortable in a used cart. I will be paying a lot more for a brand new cart, but then again, I will have the full factory warranty. I can also be taught as to its proper care and maintenance from day one.

A new golf cart’s cost varies from $5000 to $10000 depending on the features and accessories. With added features, comes the added cost. One can go extremely frugal and shave away the bare necessities and probably get a new one for under $5000. I don’t think I would like a stripped cab though.

However, a used machine can really save me quite some money. I am not so familiar with golf cart mechanics so buying from a local individual party is out of the question. Maybe I can find a local golf cart dealer and have some type of repair service warranty to go with my purchase.

A used rig’s cost widely fluctuates depending on the model, features, and the current condition of the equipment. I might be able to find one that is still in very good running condition. It will be a good idea to have a trusted mechanic take a look at it before i make my final decision.

Should I go for a gas powered or electric golf cart? An electric car I know is relatively easier to maintain than a gas cart but I do have to change the batteries every few years and that would cost me around $500 or so every time. My officemate told me that over a period of time, the effort and cost maintaining a gas or an electric driven cab works out pretty much the same. I guess it wouldnt really matter much to me then.

Should I go for a new cart or an old one? Is an electric cab better that a gas powered machine? I was advised that in any type, with the proper care and regular maintenance, you can be assured of excellent performance for ten years – even more.

There are many different golf tours that go on regularly around the world, and one of the most popular is the Canadian Professional Golf Tour. The Canadian Professional Golf Tour has been in operation for more than thirty-five years now. In the early years the tour actually helped in the development of many future Canadian Hall of Fame members and PGA Tour regulars, including the legendary Dan Halldorson and Dave Barr.

Canadian Professional Golf Tour members have always thrived on the nationwide tour, which is the premier feeder circuit for the PGA Tour, and in successive seasons, many players have come out winning the Alberta Classic just weeks after their initial Canadian tour triumph.

The Deputy Director of the tour is Dan Halldorson, who has been a golf touring professional for more than three decades now. He won twice on the PGA Tour with victories at the 1986 Deposit Guaranty Classic and 1980 Pensacola Open and was elected into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame in the year 2002.

A World Of Talent

The Canadian Professional Golf Tour is not one of the six leading men’s professional tours, but it is however one of the three addition tours on which Official World Golf Rankings points are available. The order of Merit winners in the tour are as follows: Ken Duke in 1999, Steven Alker in 2000, Aaron Barber in 2001, Hank Kuehne in 2002, Jon Mills in 2003, Erik Compton in 2004, Michael Harris in 2005, Stephen Gangluff in 2006, and Byron Smith in 2007.

A related tour to the Canadian Professional Golf Tour is the Challenge Tour, which is the second tier men’s professional golf tour in Europe. It was introduced in 1986 and any players who participates in the tour and are successful then qualify for membership of the European Tour in the following year.

The schedule is constantly being updated and the PGA European Tour does not track career earnings on the Challenge Tour. This is basically because a ranking of career earnings would be of little use in terms of being a measure of success, because the objective of the players on this tour is to leave it as soon as possible by winning promotion to the main tour.

The Canadian Professional Golf Tour is one of the most recognized and enjoyed golf tours in the world, and truly brings out some of the world’s finest golf talent to show to the world.

Based on the sound the golf ball made when it was hit by his newly designed putter, Karsten Solheim named his custom-made invention Ping. The engineer from General Electric had been frustrated with his putting game, blaming it on the putters available in the late 1950’s so he designed his own, giving birth to Ping Golf equipment.

Working in his garage in 1959, the Redwood City, California resident designed the Ping 1A putter with a heel-toe weight, setting the golf equipment world on its ear. Sports Illustrated fell in love with the sound the putter made when used, and Ping Golf was moved to Phoenix, Arizona where it is headquartered today. After resigning from GE in 1967, Solheim continued for the first few years making his putters individually by hand.

His first set of Ping Golf irons continued with his innovation of heel-toe weighting and he named them “69,” which he considered a good score for a round of golf. John Barnum earned a PGA Tour event in 1962 using a Ping Golf club, and sales of his work continued to climb. Sales escalated even higher following the 1965 Golf World Cup in Japan after many of the professionals used Ping putters during the televised event.

Additional Clubs Added To The Equipment Mix

With a new idea for a putter in his mind, Solheim could not find a piece of paper to draw his idea, so using a dust cover of a 78-RPM record, he sketched his new putter. When trying to come up with a name, his wife suggested that since it was the answer to his putting problems, he should call it the answer. However, since the name was too long to fit on the club, it was shortened to Anser.

In 1966 the United States Golf Association’s rules committee banned all Ping Golf putters, except the Answer, claiming the slight bend in the shaft below the grip gave golfers too much of an advantage. Considered a conventional putter, the Answer is the winningest putter in professional golf history.

Following his resignation from GE in 1967, a new factory was built and houses Karsten Manufacturing Corporation, which today makes all Ping Golf equipment in its plant in Phoenix, including putters, irons, woods and hybrid clubs. Ping Golf has grown to be one of the most widely known and respected brands of golf equipment manufacturers in the world.
