Playing a game of golf is not the same as playing a good game of golf. Anyone can take a golf club, swing it and hit the ball. This does not a golf player make. I remember my first time on the golf course. I, of course, had no idea of what type of club to use until a friend made a recommendation for me. I had a long ways to go to catch up, so I swung and I swung hard. My ball traveled a great distance-into the next person’s fairway. It was then that I learned about the golf grip, the golf swing, and the importance of both. Many people don’t know what a good golf grip is, much less, how it affects your game. They often wonder how or where you get a good golf grip. Can you buy one? Is it an inherited thing? Inexperienced golfers will often ask these questions about getting the right golf grip.

Golf Swing from the Right – Equipment for “Southpaws”

Are you a “lefty” that wants to take up golf? No doubt you’ve had an uphill battle with things in the world designed for right-handed individuals. Well, golf is no exception. You might be asking yourself if there is a real difference in the equipment for left-handed players. Yes, there is a huge difference. A right-handed golf club is angled so when you swing on the left side of the ball (the proper side for right handed players) it goes the proper direction. Therefore, a club for left-handed players is angled in the opposite direction.
