In many cases, planning ahead can be a money-saving exercise, especially when traveling by air. While there are arguments for and against planning travel ahead of time, there will be times that last minute travel is a necessity. For some, this can mean a higher airline fare than they might typically pay, while for others it could translate into exceptional savings, depending on when the travel is needed and how flexible travel times can be.
