If you happen to ask any of your friends about their choice of dream vacations, there is an even Steven chance that they might answer, “sipping a sangria, hot Jamaican sand beneath my feet” They are not alone in this wishful thinking. A large majority of us workaholics dream of a time when we can live the life of a beach dweller, living in a beach house looking out upon the ocean of our dreams.

As children we are ever captivated by the infinite nature all around us, interacting with it with a sense of boundless discovery. Listening to music, watching the movements of fluffy clouds, combing the beach for pebbles or shells are ways to still the mind, to regain a sense of our wholeness in the innocence of the moment. As we except life’s challenges, and assume greater responsibilities, we often lose our connection with the outer world, and spend so much of our time deep in the trenches of our minds.
