Cyprus resorts may be popular, but they weren’t the first of their kind
The relative wealth that comes with modern day living has created many opportunities for us to enjoy holidays further afield and relax in sumptuous, luxury hotels; Cyprus is one country that has gained in popularity for this type of exclusive holiday. Although the island has many different resorts, Cyprus is in no way the inventor of this type of holiday experience – in fact, resorts are really quite dated as a concept.
