Taking a Hawaii cruise is like the ultimate dream for lots of people worldwide. Sailing far out into the amazing Pacific Ocean on a luxury cruise seeking an Eden like paradise that is the Hawaiian islands is something only a select few travelers experience. What an amazing locale it is as well! Sunny beaches, palm trees being blow by the soothing Hawaiian winds, vibrant sunsets all await those who journey out on a Hawaiian cruise.

For American and Canadian citizens, Hawaii cruises depart from numerous seaports along the west coast of North America. Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver all offer ports from which you can depart from.

Hawaii cruise vacations normally comprise of a round-trip of 15-18 days and take in Hawaii and one or two ports on the other islands in the group. But you can always pay for a one-way trip to Hawaii on a cruise ship and then fly to your next destination from her international airport.

Lots of companies have longer Hawaii cruise vacations too, lasting 25-30 days or even longer. These extended cruises are an excellent choice for those wishing to experience a more intense adventure in Hawaii and also for those who would like the opportunity to spend some time on the other islands of Maui, Lanai, Oahu and Kauai.

Even if you are the more restless type who does not enjoy lazing around in front of a pool simply taking in the sun, Hawaiian cruises can offer on land adventures to satisfy you. On the Big Island itself you can turn intrepid adventurer and explore the dormant volcanoes of Mauna Kea or the smaller Kilauea crater. You can also take a tour by helicopter if hiking isn’t your thing.

The Kona Cloud Forest hike takes you through a botanical walk on the Big Island near the port of Kona. There is also the opportunity to enjoy a variety of watersports, or take a passenger submarine to explore the area’s 25-acre coral reefs.
