The power of the tides has created unique, stimulating and wild rides. There are numerous degrees of adventure and the Bay of Fundy offers a little of each.

Ride the Reversing Falls

For the experienced white water kayaker, the reversing falls at low tide present a superb challenge, making a great ride.

For the less adventuresome, but equally daring, try walking through the falls in a unique “bubble” or partaking in a jet boat ride.

Ride the Tidal Bore & Mud Sliding

The earth at the top of the Bay opens up to waters that quickly flow in at high tide. A few local outfitters use this phenomena by organizing white water adventure tours. This is a wild experience that’s truly totally unique to the Bay of Fundy.

Once the Tidal Bore is emptied of the powerful waters of high tide, steep muddy banks are laid bare. For the really adventurous and slightly crazy only.

Sea Kayaking

The Bay of Fundy has superb chances for sea kayakers. The waters can be still on occasion as the Bay does offer shelter from the open ocean’s wake creating fantastic conditions to explore a principally natural coast. With 6 hours between low and high tides, the view of the tide worn shores is consistently changing.

Underwater Diving

For the ones that brave the cold waters of the Bay, Fundy offers spectacular underwater life and real challenge. Deer Island, among the Fundy Isles, is a local scuba diving hot spot.

Whale Watching

Home to at least 8 different species of whales, whale watching is a popular activity on the Bay of Fundy. Tours go from 2 to 6 hours and are offered from a spread of coastal locations along the southern parts of the Bay.

Hiking/Back-packing

The Bay of Fundy has trails for all levels of hiking. Whether looking for a short trail to an astounding view or a back country heaven, the shores of the Bay have it all.

Rappelling/Rock Climbing

Cape Enrage is one of the Bay of Fundy’s most dramatic rock faces, creating an opportunity for the most spectacular rappelling and rock climbing in the area. The ultimate activity for the fearless.

Caving

Many caves have been carved out of the coasts of the Bay by the power of the tides. Exploring these caves can be exhilarating and dangerous. Cavers always have to beware of the rising tide. Guided tours are available.

Canada, as a nation, is actually quite mysterious to the those in the outside world and that’s just because the prevailing stereotypes don’t do much to provide insight into it’s cities. The Olympics in Vancouver introduced the world to a country that values nature and being progressive. In fact, Toronto, the largest city in the nation and the financial capital, is considered one of the great cities of the world and it is committed to building towards the future. Living in or visiting this city can be exciting with the variety of arcades and attractions in Toronto.

In terms of being a city with an eye on the future, Toronto boast a clean and efficient public transit system and has recently wired the area as a whole through a city-wide wi-fi network. With a population in the millions, this was no easy feet and just reiterates the city’s commitment to moving forward.

There are dozens of arcades within the city limits and they vary enough that you can choose exactly what kind of environment you want, whether it is the newest games on the market or some old school nostalgia. In fact, pin ball machines, foosball, air hockey, and other more tactile games have become more popular than ever.

With so many of these businesses, finding the right one you want to go to can be confusing. It’s best to ask around from friends or, if you’re new in town, download an app that will link into websites that are devoted to the arts and culture of Toronto and can point you in the direction of new experiences.

This is what defines the attractions in Toronto: they are experiences. Every Saturday and Sunday, residents and tourists alike flock to St. Lawrence Market. This structure has been in existence for 200 years and boasts a farmer’s market on Saturday and antiques market on Sunday.

If it’s more food that you’re interested in, no visit can be complete without visiting Chinatown. Unlike other big cities, this Chinatown is truly considered one of the best in the world and you can sample a variety of fantastic dishes in restaurants all through this eclectic neighborhood.

While the Chinese have a large presence, there are a great number of ethnicities represented from the Greek and Portuguese, to Indian. All through these small enclaves you can find some great dining and truly fun shopping choices.

In terms of shopping, many people also flock to the Eaton Centre. A multi-storied mall modeled after the Galleria in Milan, Italy, you’ll be able to find every luxury brand in the world. There are also a number of other retailers as well, including some solely Canadian designers.

One of the largest and most well known areas is the Waterfront. Located right near down town this area is one of the best recreational waterfronts in all of North America and is a popular backdrop to a number of festivals. One of the most famous festivals is the Toronto International Film Festival, or TIFF, which has ground astronomical in its standing within the film community. The most A list stars attend and even premiere their movies on this carpet. When you’re in this city there’s never an excuse not to have anything to do.

The Canadian company offers a large group of fun things to do in Toronto with arcades and entertainment attractions. Visit the Mississauga attractions and Toronto attractions. There are bowling alleys and go karts if you are looking for things to do in Toronto.

Punta Cana is a popular tourist destination on the east coast of the Dominican Republic. The climate is warm and humid with very little rainfall throughout the year. The Dominican Republic shares their Caribbean island with Haiti, which lies to the west. The prominent language is Spanish, and the architecture reflects both a native Dominican culture and the Spanish history of colonization. Punta Cana’s population is relatively small in comparison to North American standards, but one of the largest in the Dominican at just over 325,000 people. There are many European owned hotels and resorts in Punta Cana and just as many activities for visitors. Here we will take a brief look at some of the best ones.

The Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park is located at the southern end of Punta Cana. It is a nature sanctuary home to over 500 species of exotic flora and fauna. With trails snaking all over the park there is much to see and wonderful lagoons to explore. These are not the lagoons of Gilligan’s Island, these are pristine and colorful.

Manati Park is a theme park nothing like those found in the US or Canada. Set in the tropical forest of Punta Cana, it features gardens overflowing with orchids, parrots, caimans, flamingos and many other residents of the Dominican Republic. The opportunity to swim with dolphins and visit an authentic Taino village is present, and will create lifelong memories.

FUN-FUN Cave Adventure is not for the timid. It is for the adventurous! Geared up with all the appropriate safety equipment and specially trained guides, participants climb down into the some of the largest caves in the world. Adventurers will see ancient cave paintings, gigantic rock formations and tunnels running through underground rivers. Truly an amazing experience!

Punta Cana is loaded with companies happy to take travelers on excursions all over Punta Cana. Jeep safaris are fun as they can go over almost any terrain, allowing you to go where the road doesn’t necessarily lead. Ride through the tropical jungle, old plantations and then stop for an authentic Dominican meal before heading to a deserted beach!

If history is more interesting for you, then be sure to visit the House Museum of Ponce de Leon. Juan Ponce de Leon was a very prominent explorer and entrepreneur who settled in the Dominican Republic in 1505 with his wife and four children. The plantation house from which he oversaw his business has now been turned into a museum, bearing beautiful architecture and artifacts.

There is something for everyone in Punta Cana; adventure, discovery, wildlife culture and history. And don’t forget the beaches! Try out the Dominican Republic for your next vacation.

BookIt is an online travel company determined and dedicated to becoming the leader in providing travelers with the most intuitive online booking experience full of relevant information, helpful guides and travel tips. Find great deals on hoteles punta cana at BookIt!

While Perth, Australia may be one of the world's most isolated cities, it's a fantastic destination for a vacation since there is plenty to see and much to do.

While Perth, Australia may be one of the world’s most isolated cities, it’s a fantastic destination for a vacation since there is plenty to see and much to do. Many people are exploring this area with a boat charter Perth since this allows them to see everything the area offers.

Perth is far away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the country and is closer to Malaysia and Singapore than it is to Australia’s own cities of Sydney and Melbourne.

There are a large number of Swan River cruises and boat charter companies in the area, but its best to hire one of the smaller companies. The smaller boat charter Perth companies are more likely to take you to places that the larger ones ignore. The bigger companies usually take you to busy areas because the have deals in place with some of the tourist traps.

When choosing one of the smaller boat charter Perth companies, like Swan River cruises, you will visit place like Carnac Island, Rottnest Island, and the Swan River. Visiting these places is one the main reasons to visit Perth in the first place.

Rottnest Island is becoming an extremely busy tourist destination because of its beauty and proximity to Perth. It is located about’ KM off the coast of the city and is a great place to engage in water sports or simply relax on the beach.

In recent years, luxury accommodations have become available and this increased the island’s popularity. If you take one of the Swan River cruises you will likely have the chance to visit this island paradise.

Carnac Island is another great place to visit when you are in Perth because it is a wildlife habitat that features things that you will not see anywhere else. Australian Sea Lions and Bottlenose Dolphins are very commonly seen along the route to the island, which is extremely exciting for all who witness them.

The island is also noted for its high population of snakes, so you will want to be careful if you leave the boat and walk onto the island. Tiger Snakes, in particular, are very common there and are extremely venomous. There is also no source of fresh water on the island, so it is uninhabitable for most mammals.

No matter what you wish to see in Perth, a boat charter Perth is the best way to see it. You can see things that very few people have ever seen, such as Carnac Island, and also popular tourist attractions like Rottnest Island. This area of the world is renowned for its beauty and its diversity of wildlife and if you take a tour on a small boat, you will definitely be able to see everything that this area has to offer.

Are you thinking about having fun on the water in Perth? If you are, Boat Charter Perth would be the way to go. This local boat charter company can also be hired for your special personal events such as Hens Night Perth parties. Why not check it out?
