It is tough to go to a college out of state. I only had a few people from my high school go to the same college as I did and I really didn’t even know them very well. So when I got here my freshman year and a girl on the same floor in my dorm told me about rush week, I decided I would try the sorority thing. Thankfully I did, because I met an amazing group of friends that three years later I am still tight with and I have gotten to do a ton of new things since I joined.

I have stayed friends with most of the girls that I have met my freshman year in my sorority over the past 4 years. And I have also had many opportunities with them to help my community and raise awareness for charities that I feel strongly about. We team up with Dove to teach younger girls and teens to feel great about themselves. I have also gotten to work with a children’s hospital.

One of the amazing things we get to do each year is pick people to go to a team building a leadership conference. We learn how to work better as a group and also how to get more people in our sorority. Another thing that it helps us do and communicate with the community and get them involved in our events and charities. This way we don’t just have college students, we have families and schools and even retirement homes as well helping out our cause and bringing in awareness.

I was picked to go last year to the convention and it was amazing because we got to take a private jet there. Twenty of us from my chapter went and we got to the airport and we had no idea about the private jet charter so we were surprised when we got there! We took it to headquarters in Texas and then home again after back to school.

I really do wish that there was a way for us to go every year but I guess it is only fair to leave those spots open for the girls that have not yet had the chance. We learned so much that we are going to use for the next few years and when we got back we help little group meetings to teach everyone else what we learned and how to use it in our chapter and our next events. Our annual event that we are known for was a huge hit last year and I would like to think it will just keep getting better with the advice we are getting.

Consider jet charter for your upcoming trip with friends. Private jets are a great way to kick off your trip and kick back even before you get there.
Planning a honeymoon should be approached with caution to make sure you both get the honeymoon you deserve. You should look forward to your honeymoon particularly following the fuss of planning your marriage ceremony. If you have doubts about what to arrange then try to obtain some advice from your newly married friends and colleagues and do some research about what is available. Never let anybody push her or his wants onto your plans.

You need to figure out how long you are going to spend on your romantic getaway. Will it be for a couple of nights to a few weeks. Consider your cost of your romantic getaway and when you want to take it. You can go on your romantic getaway straight after the reception, several weeks after the wedding,or at the wedding location. Also determine where you want to go. Do you want to go to a cruise, desert, the tropics or maybe a few locations.

After deciding on the destination then you need to research hotels and other accommodation options. Think about if you want to be staying at a small place with a few room, at an all-inclusive resort, in the heart of a city, close to nightclubs and entertainment, at a large place with many amenities, or at a place that caters to couples of adults only.

Will you be dining at gourmet restaurants, have your meals included with the accommodation, order in room service or resort food, go to local inexpensive restaurants, or prepare your own meals? Determine the types of activities you want to participate in whether it be spending quality romantic time, taking long moonlight walks, going to clubs and bars, seeing live entertainment or other activates.

It is possible to find affordable honeymoons if you are willing to travel off-peak as these times are always less costly. You need to let the hotel or cruise now that you are newlyweds as honeymooners tend to get special treatment like chocolates and champagne, candlelit dinners and flowers. The special attention and extras will make your romantic getaway even more memorable.

If you are on a budget you should look into doing some off-season travel as you can find some fantastic deals. Whenever you are booking your honeymoon for yourself you should inform your hotel or cruise about it. This way they may have some specials or extra for you that travel agents know about but you may not.

There are honeymoon packages available from many travel companies and hotels. If you are on a honeymoon you may receive couples massages, flowers in the room, champagne and chocolates, and candlelit dinners. Honeymoon packages are designed to be very romantic and if you are great options if you are unsure about what to chose.

Make sure to pay attention to the extras such as room placement and room options. Do you want bathrobes, a plunge pool, air conditioning, CD player, minibar, DVD player, king size bed or whirlpool bath in your room. DO you want your balcony to overlook a gorgeous white sand and turquoise water beach? A little planning can go a very long way.
