Points Of Interest And Tourist Activities In Chester City And Cheshire County
Visiting England’s Cheshire County and Chester, one of its biggest cities, is one for the bucket list – it truly is a must-do experience. The Romans occupied Cheshire for 4 decades starting 70 AD, and created the town and fort of Deva Victrix, now Chester. By the 7th century, Cheshire became part of the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Mercia. Even today you can still see some of the remnants of its marvelous history, like the Chester city walls, and establishments fashioned with Tudor, Norman, Gothic and Victorian structural and design influences.
