Staying Along The Coast In Monterey Hotels
If you are vacationing in Monterey then there are many different Monterey hotels to choose from. Monterey is situated just south of San Francisco on the central coast of California. It is a popular vacation spot as the temperature is fairly cool when compared to the rest of California. The Hotel Pacific is a luxury hotel in Monterey that is very close to the convention center and other attractions in the city. As guests at the Hotel Pacific you receive complimentary breakfast, fireplaces in the room, afternoon refreshment and feather beds. They also several different accommodation packages.
The Intercontinental hotel group just opened the Clement Monterey making it the newest of Monterey Hotels. There are a variety of guest rooms and suites that have either a patio or balconies that overlook the ocean. There are several indoor and outdoor gathering areas as well as a spa, restaurant, oceanfront patio, pool, health club, bar, whirlpool and a Kids club.
Marriott has a hotel in Monterey that contains a spa and conference space. You are just a short walk from the downtown areas as well as the Del Monte beach. The hotel also has its own outdoor swimming pool and there are many different activities in the area including surfing, kayaking, horseback riding, scuba diving, sailing, tennis, snorkeling, hiking and many bike trails.
The Hotel Pacific is a beautiful hotel that was built in the adobe style, much more reminiscent of the more historic buildings found in Monterey. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with many fountains. Each rooms comes with a feather bet, wet bar, fireplace and terrace or balcony. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea.

Del Monte Golf Course is next door to the Hyatt Regency (not Pebble Beach Golf Links). It is just one of four golf courses owned and operated by Pebble Beach Resorts including The Links at Spanish Bay, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Pebble Beach Golf Links.
Pebble Beach Resorts comprises the four golf courses as well as three hotels (The Inn at Spanish Bay, The Lodge at Pebble Beach and Casa Palmero) in addition to The Spa at Pebble Beach.
